We believe happiness is defined by our capacity to live a full and conscious life, with an unfettered creative spirit, inspiration, and meaning, and with the opportunity to share ourselves, our love, and our generosity with others.
When we act on everything that really matters in our heart of hearts; when we define the values we hold dear; and when we are clear about what we stand for and act accordingly, our lives become bountiful, meaningful and fulfilling, and we are happy.
Our goal with this course is to bring you all of the benefits of happiness. Happiness has been shown to have wonderful side-effects like:
• Higher life satisfaction
• Better health and stronger immune system
• Stronger romantic and social relationships
• Higher productivity and creativity
• Better coping with stress and much more.
We suggest that you consider this course as an invitation, an inspiration, and an encouragement to look at the places, things and people that make your life meaningful, bountiful and fulfilling. You are the “expert” on your inner world and your happiness, and the prompts in this diary are just gentle “nudges” in the direction you have chosen.
Gratification comes as a corollary. It is the result of achieving a personal goal; a meaningful effort made; the beginning of something promising, or the end of something that is not viable. It lies in the determination and the courage to be ourselves; the choice that is in harmony with us; our actions and behaviours that give us a sense of freedom.
This course includes elements of projects inspired by behaviour therapy, art therapy, working with the inner child, meditation and other psychological tools for change. The prompts are assigned in such a way as to allow you to explore, have insights and trust your own understanding.
Happiness is something you create every day and, with this course, you have already chosen to take personal responsibility and create more happiness in your life. You can, slowly but steadily and methodically, improve your baseline level of happiness, just as you can improve your physical fitness. Find your path, your mission, or your purpose; follow your dreams; be committed and persistent; be present and aware. It's important that you challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and step into your courage zone more often. Take care of yourself: your body and your mind. Meditate. Love. Invest time and energy in nurturing and
developing your relationships. Tap into your resources –whatever recharges you:
into art, into higher things, into life. And happiness will find you.

The design of this course and how to use it
The idea of this online course is to support you and help you create more gratification in all aspects of life. This course has its own unique internal structure, with the following central threads:
• 12 topics – each chapter begins with an introduction to the leading topic related to happiness, which you can explore within, say, one Month;
• A quote or an inspirational thought: a reflection related to the topic;
• Four therapeutic and creative prompts within each topic, to be accomplished step by step, at your own pace;
You will determine the time you spend on each theme and related prompts depending on your needs and capabilities and on your desire to commit to the process and to your own personal happiness. We hope that the ideas, the guidance, and the insights we share will support you in developing your wonderful new existence.
