Here is what this retreat is about:

The connection with the child within us is the foundation of all our relationships in life. Our inner system for interacting with others and the world is built upon the ways we experienced Love in our families as children, what we learned about ourselves, and how our environment shaped us. 

During our upbringing – which inevitably involves some disruptions, even with the best intentions from those who care for us – various adaptive behaviors develop, which mark all our subsequent interactions with others. We remain emotionally stuck at the age of the child we once were, unable to respond from the present moment as a mature adult. Most of the time, we live in the past, react from the past, and get stuck in unproductive behaviors.

In this retreat, Elitsa Velikova will share with you the world-renowned process of primal therapy – healing the inner child, through which thousands of people have passed. This process is fundamental and important for anyone who wants to live a fulfilling life!

☀ In this process, we will go back in time, from the age of 12 all the way back to conception, clarifying the learned behaviors and layers of false personalities we acquired in order to adapt to our family environment during those early years.

☀ Old, locked-up emotions that influence our lives as adults will be released, creating a bridge back to our true Self so that it can express itself in new forms of creativity and love. By transforming the issues from each stage of childhood, we reclaim essential core qualities – our natural intelligence, innocence, inspiration, courage, the ability to set healthy boundaries, joy and laughter, the sense of direction in life, love, and more.

☀ We will learn how to discover and support the Child within us so that we can help others – our children, partners, clients.

What is the "Inner Child"? 

The "Inner Child" is a part of our psyche – the part where old painful memories, traumas, and unprocessed emotions remain trapped; but the inner child is also the part of us that carries our full potential, all the qualities of our Essence, all possibilities.

Why do we do this process? 

In this process, we will go back in time, connected from a different perspective, and uncover and heal situations from the past. This will give us the opportunity to make choices in the present moment and respond in a healthier way. We will go back to our childhood, see the burdens we carry, the structure of our personality, and identify what most hinders us from having pcourse retreaty relationships with the world around us.

☀ The healing in this process, aside from realizing what happened in the past, is that we manage to create a new connection between us as adults and the child within us. This allows us to begin taking care of ourselves in a new way and not seek love from the outside. Through this process, we free ourselves from those influences, compromises, and unspoken agreements we unconsciously made as children to survive in certain situations, but which we still follow today, even though they are no longer necessary. This sabotages our relationships, promises, and integrity.

FACILITATOR



Elitsa holds a master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy from Switzerland and in Psychology from the UK. She is the founder and director of the Arts and Therapy Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria, and specializes in various psychological methods, including childhood deconditioning, family constellations, counseling and expressive arts therapy. She has facilitated workshops across Europe, USA, and China for nearly 20 years and has been privileged to have had training with some of the best therapists, teachers and spiritual masters all over the world.

ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION

Our training activities will be held in the training area of Olde Vechte Foundation. The accommodation consists of two houses, a comfortable training room, cozy shared spaces for connection, a dining area, and a little forest. Nearby there is a river. The venue is located in the small town of Ommen, which is great for summer vacation. 
For sleeping rooms, you can choose between:
- sleeping in a shared room in Olde Vechte Foundation, with a shared bathroom and toilet (incl. in the basic package)
- sleeping in a private room in Hotel & Spa Da Zone - paid extra according to the hotel fee
